‘Catch’ Cassandra Clare and Maureen Johnson at YALLSTAYHOME

The pandemic is affecting people and industries across the globe and the book industry is no exception to that. Signings have been cancelled or rescheduled, BookCon in New York City has been pushed back and YALLWest, an annual two-day book festival in Santa Monica, is now going digital! Readers won’t get to meet their favourite authors in person, but thanks to YALLSTAYHOME you are still able to watch panels via Zoom and win ARCs or bookish swag. Two authors that the Shadowhunters books readers are very familiar with are Cassandra Clare and Maureen Johnson, co-author of The Bane Chronicles, Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy, and Ghosts of the Shadow Market. These two amazing ladies will be having a panel called “All-Star Juvenalia” on April 26 at 5 pm Pacific Time. Here’s the official description:

Everyone starts somewhere. These authors prove that with their often hilarious, always heartfelt, and occasionally awful teenage writing.

How do you watch the panel? It’s very simple: register for the event and you will be sent a link to watch it when it’s happening. But hurry, “attendance” is limited!
