Shannon Kook is Fighting for the Role of Magnus Bane
Shannon Kook, who has openly confirmed that he has auditioned for the role of Magnus Bane in the film adaptation of ‘The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones,’ tweeted that he is still “very much in the running” and “fighting” for the role.
Kook has quickly become a fan-favorite for the role of Magnus and fans have already made fanart depicting him as the High Warlock.
At the launch party for ‘City of Lost Souls,’ which was released on May 8th, Cassandra Clare revealed that there is a lot of casting going on behind the scenes. So movie news could become plentiful any day now.
‘The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones’ stars Lily Collins (Clary) and Jamie Campbell Bower (Jace) and will be directed by Harald Zwart. Filming is set to begin on August 15 in Toronto and New York. ‘City of Bones’ will be released on August 23, 2013.
