Paul Jones Effects Studio working on special effects for ‘City of Bones’

While we don’t yet have a full cast, the movie crew are hard at work on pre-production for The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones in Toronto.

One of those crew members is Mark of 3B artistry, who is one of the make-up artists on the film. Him and the rest of Paul Jones Effects Studio will be responsible for creating the looks of the creatures of City of Bones.

Paul Jones Effects Studio has served as a special effects company on films such as the Resident Evil franchise and Silent Hill: Revelation 3D.

The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones begins filming on August 15 and is set for an August 23, 2013 theatrical release.

    • Wait a minute. Two s’s next to each other in Spanish? Can someone PLEASE explain to me how this is possible? I’m taking AP Spanish next year, and now feel like an idiot.

      • That is Portuguese, It seems a lot like Spanish, but is not Spanish. Do not be scared : )

        I am begging to know how are it going to look the runes on the shadowhunter actors…
