As one Shadowhunter series comes to a close, with today’s release of Clockwork Princess, another prepares to take its curtain call less than a year later.
City of Heavenly Fire, the conclusion to the international bestselling The Mortal Instruments series, will be released on March 1, 2014.
The date was posted on the official Shadowhunters app, which is available for iPhone and Android devices.

OH COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAVEN’T WE HAD ENOUGH TORTURE ANTICIPATING THE MONTH OF MARCH!!!!!!! Y MUST EVERYTHING BE IN THE MONTH OF MARCH!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Y COULDN’T THEY MAKE IT JANUARY OR FEBRUARY OR SOMETHING EVEN EARLIER?! I’VE PROBABLY HAD ENOUGH OF MARCH FOR A GOOD 5 YEARS!

Oh well, still psyched about CoHF, nd currently reading CP2 (also trying DAMN hard not to look at the family tree!!!!!!!!!) 😀
Anyone else in the same position as I am? Sryy, thats a stupid question, cause I KNOW tons of people in the same position as I am.
It will be very hard for me not to look at that family tree before I finish the book. I am not a patient person and waiting so long for this book has not been easy.
I like the part: “its curtain call less than a year later”.. less than year? 😀 it’s still a year, just without 20 days!!! It’s so loooong time!
Can’t believe that I will have my college degree when the book comes out.

On one hand I can’t wait for COHF. I love everything about this series. On the other hand I will be very, very sad because it will be the end. I’ll probably start crying even before I start reading the book!!! I like TID and I know I will like TDA, but there is just something extra special about the characters and the story line in TMI that tugs at my heartstrings. So right now I am happy that it is still a year away. I always have it to look forward to. Plus right now I have Clockwork Princess, the Bane Chronicles are coming out soon, COB movie that I am going nuts over, the movie guides and the Shadowhunters Codex – so much to look forward to! And in between I just keep re-reading all the TMI books cuz I am addicted to them all!

Will Simon protect from Maureen? Will Alec and Magnus get back together with help from Jace? Will the heavenly fire inside of Jace be a solution to stop Sebastian and his army? I can’t wait for City of Heavenly Fire’s release.
I am so excited !!!! COHF is going to be great. I hope Alec and Magnus get back together it would suck if they don’t. they where such a cute couple.I just finished reading the clockwork princess I wonder if Tessa and her (current) boyfriend will get to make an appearance in COHF. Tessa’s immortal and her boyfriend well i don’t want to spoil it for those who have not read it yet (for those who have I am talking about her newest boyfriend not the one she first married.) but then again those who read it would know that. sucks about all these deadlines. they should just do a bunch of all nighters and publish it NOW ! I’m just kidding (mostly) still totally excited !!!! YAY !!!!
How are you coming up with a release date of March 1, 2014, when right on this page (and every other source out there), it states a release day of May 2014??
