Really loving how the book doesn’t have the characters on the front cover. I think that looks so cool and inviting, when Clary and Jace in a weird pose could have look like a weird romance book…

I won’t be buying the tie in novel, since I already own the first book in hardcover. I will be buying the illustrated companion and the guide though! I also have the Twilight and THG illustrated companions and they’re pretty awesome. The guide will also be cool, even though the full Shadowhunter codex will also be released this year and that one will probably be more complete..!
I’m looking forward to them all but why are clay’s eyes gold,and race’s look green on the illustrated companion ?

Clary has brown eyes and Jace has gold eyes. But on some posters Jace has blue eyes so I don’t know if they’ll change it in the movie or not.
