Magnus character poster from ‘MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES’
Hollywood Crush revealed an exclusive new character poster featuring Godfrey Gao as Magnus Bane in The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones.
Magnus gets the tagline of “Warlock,” along with “An Instrument of Chaos.” There have been four character posters released so far — Clary, Jace, Simon and Valentine.
Sony Pictures continued their Instagram marketing campaign on Friday called the Mortal Reveal, where they shared clues and photos leading up to character reveals.
For the Mortal Reveal, Sony revealed several shots of the same photo as more of the glamour was pulled back from the photo to ultimately reveal Magnus.

they didn’t have him wear contacts they added it in the editing process.
I guess they muted down his glitters and cats eyes, but all in all our dear Magnus Bane aka Godfrey Gao looks badass amazing in his High Warlock black robe and hood get up, seriously very sexy and dangerous looking too, really lived up to his Instruments of Chaos titled. Im now waiting for Alec poster to come out next, then my Malec couple will be complete. LOL… xD

For the first time in my life, I have TOTALLY died of epicness!!! If you all remember, he wore the robe in his short scenes in the theatrical and international trailer. There you can really see his cat eyes than you can here. So, something tells me he may have shot this prior to the editing process. But, DAMN HE LOOKS SO BADASS!!! 😀

yeah it’s magnus but cat eyes. they are one thing that makes magnus magnus and he has cat eyes in the trailer and the still. they did this with jace having gold eyes in some blue eyes in others, can they make their mind up please.

“An instrument of Chaos”, I can’t think of a better way to describe the delectable Magnus Bane. I quite like the hood, it adds to his mystery for those who haven’t read the books yet and with the tagline like “chaos” it doesn’t give away whether he’s good or bad so he seems even more mysterious. All that this picture needs is a little bit more glitter!
