It’s been quite an eventful week for us ‘Mortal Instruments’ fans! First the release of ‘City of Fallen Angels,’ then Lily Collins spoke about her ideal Jace and we even heard from ‘City of Bones’ director Scott Stewart and his vision for the movie.

MTV’s Hollywood Crush posted another segment from their interview with Collins from WonderCon. This time she addressed a popular subject: her tweeting as Clary Fray.

“I’m Tweeting as Clary Fray, and we’ve got almost 12,000 people now,” Lily said. “All the fans are writing in ideas. I’m linking out images of different aspects of the film and set pieces and wanting their input,” she explained. “Also knowing who they want as Jace, just making sure they feel as involved as I do because like I said, I’m a fan just like them and I’m Clary, so I want their input because I’m one of them as well.”

Collins said that she enjoys interacting with the fans.

“It’s really fun to be able to do that,” she said. “A lot of films haven’t done that before on Twitter and Facebook.”

But is it really Collins doing all the tweeting?

“I’m on it everyday; it’s me. I’m the only one with the password so it’s for sure me,” she said. “I’m responding to [fans]. I’m taking their info to the studio, and it’s a really collaborative thing.”
