Lily Collins is “really excited” to work with Jamie Campbell Bower in ‘Mortal Instruments’
The hype surrounding the casting of Jamie Campbell Bower as Jace Wayland in “The Mortal Instruments” is still in full swing.
Lily Collins, Bower’s soon-to-be co-star, attended Sunday night’s MTV Movie Awards and stopped to chat about Bower with MTV, in which she dished about the excitement surrounding the casting.
Vodpod videos no longer available.“I pretty much heard it when everyone else heard it online and everything,” Collins revealed. “I’m really excited and I think we literally found our Jace that day. I am really excited. He’s a talented guy and he’s pretty enthusiastic about the role, too, which is really awesome.”
Collins talked about Bower’s audition (the one that author Cassandra Clare called “un-f-ing-believable”) and from the start they knew that Bower was their guy.
“The second that we had the audition I think everyone pretty much knew that he had that quality of Jace and he nailed it,” she said. “So we’re really excited and he’s really enthusiastic about it.”
How exciting is it to finally hear Lily talk about Jamie? Sounds like she knew Jamie was their Jace from the get-go!

no matter who the actors are, i just really hope that they’ll stay true based on the book,,although it’s fantasy, thriller, adventure, i hope that it will be funny as hell, just like the book..
