Twitter Takeover: Shadowhunters Get #8daysuntilCOLS to Trend Worldwide

With City of Lost Souls officially eight days from release, we teamed up once again with several fan sites (TMI InstituteMundie MomsTMI Examiner and TMI News en Espanoland fans to help spread the word via one of the most powerful social media sources: Twitter.

After fans got #WeAreShadowhunters the No. 1 trending topic in the world two weeks ago, #WhatIsSebastianHiding to the No. 2 trending topic worldwide, and #SaveJace to the No. 3 trending topic in the worldwe kept the tradition going on Monday, April 30 at 9 a.m. EST.

This weeks’s trending topic was #8daysuntilCOLS because it’s something that fans are indeed concerned about heading into City of Lost Souls.

It took just seven minutes for #8daysuntilCOLS to become the No. 3 trending topic in the world.

This marked the fourth consecutive week that we have gotten a City of Lost Souls topic trending worldwide. Congrats to everyone involved!
