Cassandra Clare makes the front page of The Wall Street Journal
If you picked up Friday’s issue of The Wall Street Journal chances are you probably squealed when you saw City of Bones on the front page.
The special Friday Journal featured fan fiction authors turned best sellers, which includes our beloved Cassandra Clare. The article–The New Queen of Fantasy: Cassandra Clare’s Breakout–hit the web on Thursday night, but was also featured in the Friday print issue of the paper.
Did you pick up an issue?
Nope, didn’t pick up an issue, not much of a newspaper reader, but since it was Mortal Instruments related, I googled the article, and read it from there. I’ll just post the link below:

“Eyes Darkening”, or “Eye’s Darkened”, are the only way she describes an emotion. I like the over all story, but something different needs to be used to express an emotion. I wish when she read an excerpt, she would read as if she was an interested reader, interested in the story, rather than hurrying to get through it as if it were a chore. And to make it understandable. I do like the twists in the plot. But more could have been explored in the books. ex Parabati link, ceremony, etc.
I am so happy for Cassie and so proud!
She deserves all the success that comes her way 🙂
