A Shadowhunter’s Guide to San Diego Comic-Con
San Diego Comic-Con International is among us and Shadowhunters will have a small presence.
Comic-Con will run July 12 through July 15 at the San Diego Convention Center.
If you’re a Shadowhunter and you find yourself at Comic-Con there is quite a bit going on.
Here is a Shadowhunter’s Guide to Comic-Con:
Smart Pop Books, Booth #4300
The lovely folks at Smart Pop Books will be at Comic-Con July 12-15 to promote Shadowhunters and Downworlders: A Mortal Instruments Reader, an anthology edited by Cassandra Clare, due out January 2013.
They will also be giving away 10 copies of Shadowhunters and Downworlders along with one Binding Rune Split Pendant (by Hebel Design) and promotional bookmarks.
Simon & Schuster, Room 9
Simon & Schuster will be appearing at Comic-Con on Thursday, July 12, from 7:00-8:00 p.m. (Pacific Standard Time) to talk ‘The Scoop at Simon & Schuster,’ where they will be sharing the inside word on upcoming books and exclusive prizes.
Simon & Schuster’s marketing team will be giving some scoop on some exciting upcoming releases, including The Infernal Devices, the conclusion to The Infernal Devices, by Cassandra Clare.
Yen Press, Room 8
Yen Press, the company behind the Infernal Devices manga, will be making an appearance at Comic-Con on Friday, July 13, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. (Pacific Standard Time) in Room 8.
They will be providing sneak peeks at upcoming projects, conducting a fan Q & A and giveaways.
No word on if The Infernal Devices will be a discussion.
The first issue, Clockwork Angel, is due out in its entirety in the Fall.
Sony Pictures, Booth #4229
The distributor behind the upcoming film adaptation The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones will be at Comic-Con, but there has been no news that they will be promoting City of Bones.
With the recent reveal of the official title treatment for City of Bones and with the movie roughly a month away from filming, it wouldn’t be surprising if Sony decided to promote it in some way.
Are you attending Comic-Con? Will you be stopping by any of these booths and/or rooms?

I think you mean “Comic-Con International is ‘upon’ us.”
