Rumor: ‘City of Bones’ release dates set for U.K, Germany
Filming on The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones begins in less than a month–on August 20 in Toronto–and even after a slew of casting announcements on Thursday, fans are eager for more news.
Well, it looks like we might have a couple of international release dates now set.
According to ScreenSlam.com, and also stated on IMDB.com, The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones will be released in the U.K. on August 23, 2013, and in Germany on August 29, 2013.
UPDATE: I’ve heard back from Sony Pictures and they have confirmed that there are no official international release dates at this time. “We hope to have international release date news confirmed soon, though.”
The film has a confirmed release date set for the U.S. on August 23, 2013.

Hope it stays 23rd for UK, though I wonder if that means they won’t do a premiere in Leicester square? I wouldn’t mind if the date was later if it meant they could do that, I’d be there for it.
