TMI Set Day 11: Photos and updates from Garroway Books and Curios
-It's raining on set today
-Trucks are lined up on set via @soapiie
-The store being used as Garroway Books and Curois is the same store used for an upcoming episode of Covert Affairs via @CityGirlScapes
-Actors should begin to arrive around 2-2:30 p.m. via @stolethenight
-Looks like Luke's truck has arrived on the scene via @humilityc, @stolethenight, @soapiie, @TheFableFaerie and @dariantaylor
-@humiltyc caught the film crew setting up behind Garroway Books and Curios. If you remember, Clary and Jace land in front of Garroway Books before heading out back to get inside Luke's house. They also find Simon lurking out back.
-There have a lot of cars on set today. From garbage trucks to station wagons to NYC taxis.
-Just before 6 p.m., Lily Collins (Clary), Jamie Campbell Bower (Jace) and Aidan Turner (Luke) were spotted on set via @xoAathyTox
-Lily and Jamie were filming a scene inside via @xoAathyTox
-"They're shooting last scene before lunch D: and and outside scenes after," via @xoAathyTox
-"Jace, Clary and Simon runnin through the rain outside of Luke's bookstore!" via @dariantaylor
-"Met Aiden Turner! He even signed my CoB book!" via @dariantaylor

I thought his book shop overlooked the water, this is not how I imagined it
if they were to add water, they can do with special effects
That’s because they are filming in Toronto not NYC, Ever heard of special effects?
They are not going to waste the visual fx budget or time of the vfx company working on the film on something trivial like that. As far as I can remember it’s not like the bookshop overlooking water is that relevant to the plot.

In reply to real.. in city of ashes when they are attacked by demons at the book shop there whereabouts does seem to be relevant to the plot..

Nope Cassie won’t be on set til at least mid September 🙂
