March promises to be an exciting month for Shadowhunters

From the conclusion of an international best-selling trilogy to possibly a theatrical trailer for a film franchise, the month of March is shaping up to quite an exciting one for the Shadowhunter fandom.

March 19 – ‘CLOCKWORK PRINCESS’

Clockwork Princess

Fans will say goodbye to The Infernal Devices when the conclusion to the international best-selling series, Clockwork Princess, is released on March 19.

There are many questions that fans are clamoring to be answered — Who lives? Who dies? What becomes of Mortmain and the clockwork creatures? Who will Tessa choose? and many more.

Fans that purchase a first-edition print copy of Clockwork Princess will be treated to a special surprise in the form of a family tree, which links the Shadowhunter families of The Infernal Devices to The Mortal Instruments.

And if you want a hot British boy to read Clockwork Princess to you, the Clockwork Princess audiobook, which is narrated by Daniel Sharman (listen to an excerpt here), is also due out.

While you wait, you can read the prologue and the first chapter, as well as catch up on all the snippets released so far.

End of March? – ‘THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES’ THEATRICAL TRAILER

TMI movie cut

With less than six months until The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones hits theaters, fans are anxious for another look at the film adaptation coming to theaters on Aug. 23.

Last November, Sony Pictures unveiled a teaser trailer which did just that — teased.

Cassandra Clare guessed that the next trailer could be released in March. Summer film trailers tend to be released between late-February through late-March, but it depends on the studio. So a theatrical trailer–while not confirmed–shouldn’t be too far off. Keep in mind there is no current confirmed release date.

We are also one month closer to the release of The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones (Aug. 23) and City of Heavenly Fire (March 2014).

Who knows what surprises Sony Pictures and Simon & Schuster have in store for us?

      @Alyssa

Do you know whether or not Sony and Constantin are considering putting TMI:COB in the IMAX format as well as the regular format?

  2. Yeaayyy, sooo happy we are getting a real trailer,…yeeaayyyyy…. xD

  3. I literally cannot wait for this book any longer!
Also, I don’t like surprises and all this talk about parabatai makes it kinda impossible, unfortunately, for Will to survive the end of the book… (he will give his life for Jem as an act of atonement or sth) and Jem will become/is actually Brother Zachariah, which is the most probable thing to be due to the parabatai super bond-as is constantly explained and emphasized.
I need my book like NOW! lol

  4. ONLY 18 DAYS I CAN’T WAIT.

  5. Holy crap on a cracker! March is going to chase these winter blues away. I cant wait!!!!

  6. oh my god! this month is os one of the best months ever!
