Clary and Jace tarot card by Cassandra Jean
After already sharing a love tarot card which featured Clary and Jace AND Alec and Magnus a while ago, Cassandra Clare has once again taken to her tumblr to show her fans the MORTAL INSTRUMENTS couple.

Well, I can’t always say “ask and ye shall receive” because some cards from CJ’s Shadowhunter Tarot don’t exist. This one does, though! Clary and Jace in the scene from City of Glass where they sleep in the same bed but don’t touch except for their hands. The Eight of Wands/Steles, which can mean headlong progression. I liked it because I felt like this was the moment in which they fell in love, that there was no going back from.
The tarot cards are created by the artist Cassandra Jean who has also illustrated several Clockwork Princess teasers.

This is one of my favourite scenes of all 5 TMI books. It shows how much respect and love Jace has for Clary. I sure hope all these books make it into movies and that the same cast remains for all of them!
As I agree to your last part of your comment. It would be bad if they have to change a characters acter. But, if they do then they do sadly.

Interesting the card calls him Jace Herondale. I remember when Jamie said he was playing the role of Jace Wayland. Or is is Lightwood or is it Morganstern???? After I read Clockwork Princess I will have to take a look at the family tree to find out.
I guess Jace can take a little from each from these names. Herondale would be his birth name as his biological father was Stephen Herondale. Since he went to live with the Lightwoods when he was 10, they became his family so he could use the name Lightwood and both Isabelle and Alec told him that he was a Lightwood. He thought his father was Valentine whose name was Morganstern so he could use that name too. But at one time Valentine tells him that his father was Michael Wayland, so Jace thought his last name was Wayland. But since his biological last name is Herondale I’m thinking that is why his name on the card is Jace Herondale.
The whole name thing has always really confused me to be honest but I think Jace definitely thinks of himself as a Lightwood and would probably introduce himself as such. But technically he is a Herondale so that works too I guess, I just don’t know how comfortable Jace would feel refering to himself as Herondale. It would be an interesting question to ask Cassie herself though.
