Sony Pictures promotes THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES at CinemaCon
On Wednesday night, Sony Pictures presented their 2013 film slate, including The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones (out Aug. 23).
While they didn’t show anything new–they ran the theatrical trailer that was unveiled on April 1–the reaction was good.

@cassieclare the more I see of the movie…the more I like what they’re going for.

RT @colliderfrosty: ” the more I see of the movie…the more I like what they’re going for.” It’s dark! I like it too so far. 🙂

Mortal Instruments has a Beautiful Creatures feel with amped up action. #CinemaCon

@minablak haha, I have to imagine it will be better. The action is way more impressive at least.

so excited!
I am really excited for this movie, but the fact that he said that stuff of beautiful creatures scares me…. Don’t compare TMI with BC it’s completely different and besides that just might give TMI bad luck considering… (Hopefully not I pray)
I actually happened to REALLY like the Beautiful Creatures movie especially since I wasn’t the hugest fan of the book. The ending irked me and there should have been more chemistry between Lena and Ethan but the acting and action EAS really good. I was VERY disappointed that it wasn’t more popular. I think there should have been more commercials and advertising
