‘Shadowhunter Chronicles’ calendar art: Best friends Emma and Cristina from ‘The Dark Artifices’
In addition to working on a calendar that features the male characters from The Mortal Instruments, The Infernal Devices, The Dark Artifices and TLH, Cassandra Clare and Cassandra Jean are also collaborating on a calendar which will feature the girls.
Check out two best friends from the upcoming The Dark Artifices, Emma and Cristina:
Emma and Cristina from the girls’ Shadowhunter calendar. Best friends. I think of Cristina as way too shy to show her bra at all, but this is a pinup calendar! Beautifully illustrated by Cassandra Jean.

Hate how all the drawings by Cassandra Jean objectify Cassandra Clare’s characters. These characters are SO MUCH MORE than their physical appearances….why is it that in every drawing, the girls and guys are half naked?
Def want Izzy and Clary, Maybe Jocelyn, also would like to see Maryse, Maia, Jessamine, and Tessa, too. Oh, and Charlotte. Definitely Charlotte.
