The release date of Cassandra Clare’s Lady Midnight is coming closer and closer – only 42 more days – and the best way to celebrate the publication of a new book is going on tour to meet fans. Simon & Schuster UK agree with us and that is why Cassie will be touring the UK this April!

Shadowhunters Super Fan event with Cassandra Clare
Join the internationally bestselling author of The Mortal Instruments series, Cassandra Clare, at this special theatre event for super fans to celebrate the launch of her new novel Lady Midnight, the first book in The Dark Artifices series.
Cassandra Clare will be interviewed on stage by literary journalist Anna James about her highly anticipated return to the world of the Los Angeles Shadowhunters in Lady Midnight. There will be a chance to meet Cassandra and get your books signed.
Also at this exclusive Shadowhunter fan event there will be free body-art rune painting, Lady Midnight mini makeovers, a Shadowhunters selfie scene and freebies. Fans are encouraged to dress up as characters from the books too!
This event will be the first stop on Cassandra’s UK tour and promises to be a very special occasion for fans of her books.
We have already booked our ticket for the London event and cannot wait to share our experiences with you guys!

The tickets for the London event has sold out and I really want to go, I have decided to travel to Leeds to attend the event there. Is there any advice that you can give me?
just want to make sure.since i have never been to a book signing before, we do have to bring our own book right. it’s not like they are giving them out for free or anything. i know this probably sounds stupid but just be sure.
Yes, you have to bring your own books. You’re allowed to have three signed by Cassie. I think some venues say that you have to purchase a copy of Lady Midnight so that you’re allowed to join the signing queue so make sure to read the information that was given about the event you’re going to. Have fun, talk with other fans and enjoy your first book signing! ☺
