Cassandra Clare shares a snippet from the ‘Chain of Iron’ short story

Good morning, afternoon or good evening! We have a new Chain of Iron snippet thanks to Cassandra Clare and I’m particularly excited to share this one with you. It features two beloved characters we know from several of Cassie’s novels and a certain book that was important in The Dark Artifices. 😉

Okay, what on earth is going on with the Black Volume of the Dead? Why is it acting up like that?
I love the short story’s title because of the nod to The Infernal Devices. What do you guys think?
