Should We Expect Full ‘Mortal Instruments’ Cast By March?
While browsing Tumblr (as I most always do) I came across a post by Fuck Yeah Clary Fray who shared some interesting news from April 2011 about The Mortal Instruments casting news and how it might be coming by March 2012.
Now, don’t freak out, as nothing is confirmed, but perhaps this was the time frame all along?
Cassandra Clare revealed in an interview with The FAB Life that Screen Gems was looking to begin filming on The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones in spring of 2012, and she hinted at a possible summer 2013 release date for the film.
Lily Collins (Clary) and Jamie Campbell Bower (Jace) are the only confirmed members of the cast at this time.

Remember when the filming was scheduled for Jan 2010, lol? I think I speak for everyone here when I say – I seriously hope there’s no more post-ponedments! 🙂

Please, Jamie is not Jace. Jace is hot, Jamie is ugly, and not even cute. I will not watch these movies with him in it. And I hate him as an actor.

I don’t think that Jamie Campbell Bower fits the part as Jace. I have nothing against his looks as just a person, but when a person reads the Mortal Instruments series, they envision Jace as somebody completely different from Jamie. Nothing against Jamie, but in minds of teens and adults around the country, Jamie just doesn’t fit the part.
