The ‘Clockwork Princess’ cover is here!
The final installment of the best selling The Infernal Devices trilogy isn’t set to be released until March 19, 2013, but there is plenty more excitement in the coming months to help ease the painful wait for fans, including the cover reveal for Clockwork Princess.
Fans of Cassandra Clare’s internationally best selling series helped reveal the cover by sending in 29,000 tweets featuring the #ClockworkPrincess hashtag in just two hours!
#ClockworkPrincess was also a worldwide trending topic for more than 30 minutes!

if they added that–it would mean the ending of the book will be revealed. Will or Jem is the big question and if that was on the cover it would be to much on her neck and it would take the attention away from the whole pictre
I belive she is holding either the Shadowhunter Codex OR A Tale of Two Cities. The dress is beautiful ad i love how the necklace is in the photo. she is beautiful the cover is beautiful and i cannot contain my exitment at the moment. This is not what I was expecting at all; I’m disappointed. I was expecting an innocent sweet young girl in her late teens, but the woman on the cover appears to be much older, probably mid-twenties, worldly, and seductive. The dress is too revealing too. This is not my Tessa.

I don’t know if I’m just being really picky, but I’m actually really disappointed. Tessa seems to be depicted here as sexy, and tbh, she kind of looks like she knows she’s it. The girl I pictured was more down to earth and innocent, and knew nothing of her good looks.
Clockwork Angel remains my favourite cover.

keep in mind guys, that your Tessa doesn’t have to look like her. The face of the model was left up to the interpretation of the cover designer. Yet for each of us we have our own knowledge of who the character is, and what she looks like. This girl may not even be Cassandra Clare’s ideal Tessa Gray. Personally, I think this girl is definitely beautiful, but she’s not my Tessa. My Tessa is very pretty, but modest about it. She is classic and lovely. Thank goodness the image of characters is left to the interpretation of the reader though. The imagination is a wonderful thing.
Tessa is bold, brave, and beautiful! Stunning. I think that she’s holding The Codex or The Tell of Two Cities. This is my favorite of the three book covers. Just saying but It shocked me when Jem asked her to marry him. Also, that she said yes. I thought that’d she would say let me thing about it (even though I knew she had feelings for him….and Will).
I rather have a hard time deciphering what she is. She appears Asian more than anything and substantially sexier than what I imagined Tessa. She oozes sex appeal, making no room for modesty. Indeed, the cover is superb but it does not illustrate any character trait of MY interpretation of Tessa, other than she is tall and burnette. But than again, Clare did not clarify if this is actually Tessa. Anyway, appearance is trivial. The initimations on the cover and the character are more intriguing and thought-provoking. The Codex…the absent gem… the background… even her eyes. Wonder what else Mrs. Clare has up her sleeve?
