THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS and THE INFERNAL DEVICES rank in the Top 30 of NPR’s Best-Ever YA Novels
The fans have spoken.
NPR’s Best-Ever YA Novels list has been revealed and both of Cassandra Clare’s bestselling series, The Mortal Instruments and The Infernal Devices, have cracked not only the Top 100 but the Top 30.
The Mortal Instruments ranked No. 21.
The Infernal Devices ranked No. 29.
The list was created by fans, who submitted 10 of their favorite Young Adult novels or series and the results were tallied to create NPR’s list.
Harry Potter took the top spot with The Hunger Games and To Kill a Mockingbird taking No. 2 and No. 3, respectively.
Do you agree with the rankings? Should both books be higher on the list? Sound off in the comments!
Tessa Fell? I don’t remember that name as her last name. Is that a clue as to her identity? Ragnor Fell perhaps?
Ragnor dies in CoGlass, remember? It must be a typo. Tessa+Will!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m sorry but most of this list is a joke. It’s mostly made up of currently trendy and popular books and has no real merit. Nobody will be talking about half the books on this list in a 10 years time.
I think that The Mortal Instruments and The Infernal Devices should have been No .1 and No .2 instead of No. 21 and No. 29! They’re the best YA series ever!!!!
I so agree!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Vote for The Infernal Devices!!!!!!!!!!
Do it everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
TID should be 1st and TMI 2nd!!!!!!!!! AFTER that come Harry Potter, The Hunger Games and everything else!!!!!!!
