Official teaser poster for THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES unveiled
MTV unveiled the official teaser poster for THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES on Wednesday (Nov. 14).

Set in contemporary New York City, a seemingly ordinary teenager, Clary Fray (Lily Collins), discovers she is the descendant of a line of Shadowhunters, a secret cadre of young half-angel warriors locked in an ancient battle to protect our world from demons. After the disappearance of her mother (Lena Headey), Clary must join forces with a group of Shadowhunters, who introduce her to a dangerous alternate New York called Downworld, filled with demons, warlocks, vampires, werewolves and other deadly creatures. Based on the worldwide best-selling book series.
But that’s not all that MTV has planned for fans of THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS this week.
In addition to the “City of Bones” trailer, MTV News will be rolling out a slew of “TMI” content this week, including a trailer commentary with author Cassie and an interview with director Harald Zwart. So be sure to stick close for all things Shadowhunter!
Earlier in the day, Entertainment Weekly shared the first still from the film, which features Lily Collins as Clary Fray.
The teaser trailer is set to premiere Wednesday on Entertainment Tonight before debuting online at MTV.com at 10:30 PM EST/7:30 PM EST the same day.

I do like the imagery but that fucking writing style pisses me off- it looks like comic sans -which everyone uses in elementary school!
