THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES Countdown: 200 Days

Shadowhunters, can you believe that we are only 200 days away from the theatrical release of THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES?!

It seems like just yesterday when filming began last August in Toronto and now we’re less than seven months away from seeing the finished product.

In honor of the occasion why not watch and then re-watch and then re-watch again the teaser trailer, which you can see now in theaters in front of select showings of Warm Bodies.

Since filming wrapped in November here’s what we’ve gotten: a teaser trailer, a teaser poster (which has been spotted in theaters across the globe), a still of Clary, a still of Jace and a First Look featurette from MTV.

A theatrical trailer is expected to be released in March and the official poster featuring character promo shots shouldn’t be too far off.

THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES is already generating a ton of hype and it showed when it finished second in the MTV Movie Brawl for Most Anticipated Movie of 2013, losing out in the finals to the hugely successful Hunger Games.

With less than seven months left until its August 23 release, the excitement is just getting started!
