A Week of Mortal Love Recap: Fans get seven new stills in Valentine’s-themed celebration

Much to the delight of fans, Sony Pictures launched a Valentine’s Day celebration week in honor of The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones (out Aug. 23), which culminated in the release of seven new stills from the film. The campaign kicked off Saturday and lasted through Thursday (Valentine’s Day). Throughout each day, Sony would reveal several clues (a photo along with a character description) leading up to the character graphic reveal. It was unveiled as a Valentine-themed graphic before a website debuted the full still minutes later. Fans got first and new looks at Clary, Jace, Simon, Isabelle, Alec, Magnus and Valentine. I love all of these pictures, thank you to the film makers for giving them to us it was the best Valentines present ever – especially Magnus! I just showed them to my mother though, she thought Jamie was a woman!! And no I am not even joking!

This was awesome!!! Wish I could trade places with Clary!! LOL. Sony was great to do this for us. Thanks so much, it was very much appreciated. All these little things help with the long wait we have until August. These things make the wait bearable and it’s fun to have new things to look forward to. Thanks also to Alyssa for keeping us always up to date with everything. You do a spectacular job!
