I’m rereading LoS right now and it remind me of the words inscribed on the table Zara was sitting at in the cave when Ty, Livvy, and Kit first spy on her and Manuel. It’s probably nothing to do with the table, but since I just read that part, it reminded me of it.
I think it’s a nod to Cassie and Holly Black’s Magisterium series.
I haven’t read those, but I’ve purchased them all for my nephew over the years! He’s getting the last one for Christmas this year!
