Shadowhunter Talk Episode 9: TMI SOURCE headed to the CITY OF BONES set

It was another busy week for the Shadowhunter Chronicles fandom! With the third week of filming complete on THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES at Garroway Books and Curios and the first photo of the principal cast promoting MORTAL INSTRUMENTS at a photo call a few weeks ago, it was another action-packed week for fans. TMI Source headed to the CITY OF BONES set on Sept. 21

I am beyond excited to announce that TMI Source is headed to the set of THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES on Sept. 21 along with other fansites including Mundie Moms, TMI Examiner, Fangirlish and Hypable. Submit your questions and comments for the cast and crew and they might get answered! TMI Source freelancer Megan came up with a great idea for fans. We’re going to put together a fan video and we’re calling it “A Very TMI Thank You”. All you need to do is record your message for the cast, crew or Cassandra Clare (in less than 2 minutes) and reply to our video (linked below) with your YouTube video. Third week of filming has wrapped

Filming on the highly-anticipated THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES continued on Tuesday in Toronto and filmed through Friday before giving the cast and crew the weekend off.

There was no shortage of news in the form of set photos or set report, as fans and photogs alike were on the scene to capture the action. Lily Collins (Clary), Jamie Campbell Bower (Jace), Robbie Sheehan (Simon), Aidan Turner (Luke), Kevin Durand (Pangborn) and Robert Maillet (Blackwell) were on set during the week.

They filmed a few scenes that involved Garroway Books and Curios, which fans know in the books as Luke’s bookstore.

New CLOCKWORK PRINCESS snippets

Cassandra Clare shared two new snippets from CLOCKWORK PRINCESS. One was innocent enough, but the other has left fans as anxious as ever about the fate of their favorite INFERNAL DEVICES characters.

            –“You know,” Cecily said, “you really didn’t have to throw that man through the window.”

            – “It has been the privilege and the honor of my life to know you.”

Kevin Zegers talks MORTAL INSTRUMENTS with fans

Kevin Zegers (Alec) enjoyed a few days away from the set of THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES early last week.

Zegers took some time out of his day on Tuesday to answer fan questions on Twitter, including several about THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS.

-He said his favorite book is THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS (smart move Kevin), his favorite character is Alec and after Alec it’s Jace

-He said he’d see Godfrey Gao in a couple of weeks

-He also said that his bromance with Jamie Campbell Bower and Robbie Sheehan is “solid.”

-He said the experience on the TMI set has been incredible and he’s having a lot of fun on set

Jemima West talks MORTAL INSTRUMENTS with Telegraph

Jemima West (Isabelle) did an interview with The Telegraph where she briefly touched on THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS, including her surprise at the massive fan base.

“They are warriors, fighters, and they live in their own world,” she explains, admitting, “I had no idea that the fan base was so enormous for the books.”
